The French Market is calling food and bloody mary vendors to be a part of the 38th annual Creole Tomato Festival!
The 38th annual Creole Tomato Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 8th and 9th, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the French Market and in Dutch Alley. The festival draws a regional audience enticed by fresh Creole tomatoes for sale, Creole tomato inspired food dishes, unique bloody marys, performances by local musicians, and family activities.
This year we have three ways to participate in the Creole Tomato Festival; applications linked respectively. Detailed program information provided on the application pages.
o The Festival will host 10 to 12 food vendors at the French Market
o Booth fee is $600 and includes partial set-up
o The deadline for application is Friday, April 19th at 12:00pm

o Not able to vend at Festival? We are seeking partner outlets to serve Creole tomato food dishes and/or original bloody marys at their business location during the month of June!

Festival acceptance confirmation will be Friday, April 26th. The Creole Tomato Festival Food Vendor Selection Committee will select applicants based on the type of dishes submitted.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Load in time is from 7:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., all food vendors are required to be completely set up by 10:00 a.m. All vehicles must be cleared from the loading lanes by the required time.
Food booths will be open 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on festival days.
Booth size is 10X10 with limited space outside of that area.
All food vendors set their own prices for their menu items; however, we request that your leading Creole tomato dish be $10 maximum. We encourage competitive pricing to boost sales.
No menu items are to be sold without prior approval of the Creole Tomato Festival.
A Creole Tomato dish is a dish prepared with use of the Creole Tomato as a major component. This can come in most any form and we encourage outside the box creative dishes. Simply adding a diced or sliced Creole Tomato to a dish would not make eligible as a Creole Tomato dish. Dishes can be served hot or cold. BE CREATIVE AND HAVE FUN!

Creole Tomato Festival provides (1) 10×10 tent, (2) 8 foot tables, (2) chairs, (2) 110v standard connections, and festival themed food menu signage.
(2) 110v standard connections are provided in your booth fee. The festival does not provide water.
New Orleans Fired Department Fire Watch will be on-site to monitor cooking and frying. If you are cooking on site you must place cardboard and visqueen under your cooking apparatus to capture remnants, grease, oil and etc. It is mandatory to clean up any stains prior to departing. If any stains are left you will be fined $150.00.
Sale of approved bloody mary is permitted.
Selling of drinks, such as water, soft and hard drinks is strictly prohibited. Creole Tomato Festival will operate beverage outlets with a selection of soft and hard beverages for sale.
